The mission and spirit of Chambers & Aholt, LLC, is strong advocacy on behalf of people who have suffered harm through the negligence of other people and organizations. With our extensive trial experience, we are well known and often asked to assist other law firms with personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Both Bo and Doug have received the highest rating possible from their legal peers who have rated them AV Preeminent for their high ethical standards and legal abilities under the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings. In 2013, The General Practice & Trial Section of the State Bar of Georgia awarded Bo Chambers the Tradition of Excellence for his commitment and service to his clients and the plaintiff's section of the bar.
At Chambers & Aholt our purpose and passion are to enable people who have been injured through the wrongdoing of others to receive compensation to the fullest extent attainable in each case. We are experienced lawyers dedicated to helping people. Our clients have included people injured in car accidents and trucking accidents, through medical malpractice, due to neglect in nursing homes, by dangerous and defective products, in dangerous premises accidents, people struggling to achieve fair dealings with insurance companies; and injured workers, and surviving family members after a fatal accident of any kind.
At Chambers & Aholt, LLC, we serve clients in Gwinnett County, Clayton County, Cobb County, throughout the Atlanta Metro area, and Decatur, Georgia.
We take our role in prosecuting the rights of our clients very seriously. A serious accident, whether it results in injury or death, is a major life event for the injured and bereaved family members. Our attorneys consider our relationship with clients to be akin to a partnership. Together, we achieve the goal of collecting compensation that they need after a major accidental injury for:
Accommodations for lasting disabilities
Funeral and burial costs, if applicable
Compensation for lost wages
Acknowledgment of pain and suffering, including the unique losses of a spouse and other dependents
When there are catastrophic injuries, a recovering and then rehabilitated accident victim is likely to have special needs, including:
Home remodeling or a move to new, handicapped-accessible housing
Personal care attendants
Transportation such as a wheelchair-ready van
Vocational rehabilitation as appropriate, including outfitting with specialized equipment such as voice-activated computer software
Although monetary compensation cannot bring back a carefree lifestyle that an injured person or bereaved family members enjoyed before an accident, financial resources can help an individual and a family move forward. That is what our law firm is all about - helping the injured tap into all available resources to keep a life worth living within their grasp, in spite of serious or catastrophic injuries or loss of a loved one in a fatal workplace accident or traffic accident.
Our firm handles most injury and negligence cases on a contingent fee basis. This means that if we are successful in obtaining a recovery for a client we will be paid out of the recovery, but if we are not able to recover, then the client does not owe us a fee. In most of these cases, we also agree to advance the expenses of pursuing a lawsuit, which is later reimbursed out of a recovery, but again, if we are unable to recover the client does not owe us for those expenses. We also never charge a fee for initial consultations with potential clients to look into whether they have a case that we can help them with. We encourage all potential clients to contact us to discuss your matters even if you are unsure whether you have a case.
